Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in is after 4:00 PM | Check-out is by 11:00 AM.

  • If you need a late check-out, please reach out in advance—fees may apply for unapproved late check-outs. (See “Violation Fees” section)

  • Our cleaning crew appreciates your punctuality so they can prepare the home for the next guest.

No Pets

  • We love animals, but unfortunately, pets are not allowed at this property.

  • Bringing a pet without permission may result in fees and reservation termination. (See “Violation Fees” section)

No Smoking or Drug Use

  • This is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is allowed at least 100 feet away from the property and not near any doors or windows.

  • Smoking in or near the home may result in fees and potential cancellation. (See “Violation Fees” section)

  • Absolutely no drug use or solicitation is permitted on the property.

Prohibited Items

  • Please do not use candles or hair dye inside the home. These can cause lasting damage and are not permitted.

  • Unauthorized use may result in fees and reservation cancellation. (See “Violation Fees” section)

Guest Limit & Quiet Hours

  • Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM. We ask all guests to respect the peaceful atmosphere during these hours.

  • All guests must be pre-registered and provide valid ID.

  • Please let us know in advance if you wish to have additional guests—we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Trash & Cleanliness

  • Please place all garbage in large, sealed plastic bags and dispose of them in the bins near the house. Loose trash cannot be collected.

  • Do not rinse sand down any indoor drains. Use the outdoor shower provided to rinse off before entering the home.

  • Leaving excessive sand, dirt, or trash inside the property may result in cleaning fees. (See “Violation Fees” section)

  • We ask that you clean any used dishes, cookware, and coffee pots before check-out.

Water & Electricity

  • Water is heated using an eco-friendly solar system, with a gravity-fed backup tank in case of outages.

  • During outages, water pressure may be lower—please use water mindfully to preserve the supply.

Septic System Care

  • Our septic system is very sensitive. Please do not flush toilet paper or any other items.

  • A wastebasket is provided for all paper products. Improper disposal may result in fees for plumbing issues. (See “Violation Fees” section)

Power Outages & Generators

  • Municipal outages can occur from time to time. Unfortunately, no refunds can be provided for these rare interruptions.

  • A self-operated generator is available on the property. We’ll provide a video tutorial upon request.

  • Please note: A/C units cannot be used while on generator power, but fans are available for your comfort.

Property & Amenity Use

  • High-speed WiFi is included, though rare outages can occur—feel free to download content in advance.

  • A gas stovetop is available for your use. Gas tanks are located outside (righty-tighty, lefty-loosey).

  • Please do not move indoor furniture outside, and do not remove any items from the property.

  • Report any damage or maintenance issues as soon as possible so we can make it right!

Linens & Toiletries

  • Fresh linens and two bath towels per room are provided. For stays longer than 4 days, fresh towels can be delivered with 24-hour notice.

  • Toiletries such as hand soap and toilet paper are stocked for your arrival. You may purchase more if needed from the local store.

Parking & Entry

  • You will usually have one spot in front, yet parking is shared neighborhood parking and not guaranteed. Please do not block any neighboring driveways or exits.

  • There is additional neighborhood parking available, but it is first come, first serve. Please be courteous and avoid blocking driveways or fire hydrants.

  • Property management reserves the right to enter for necessary maintenance or safety checks, with or without notice.

Weather & Refunds

  • No refunds will be provided for storm warnings, voluntary evacuations, or power/water outages beyond our control.

  • We recommend travel insurance (with Trip Interruption Insurance) for peace of mind.

đźš« House Rules Violation Fees

These fees are only applied in the event of non-compliance with the rules above. Our goal is always to avoid them—but they’re here for fairness and transparency.

Violation Fee Notes
Late check-out (unauthorized) $25/hour Please request ahead of time for possible accommodation.
Unauthorized pets $350 May also result in immediate cancellation of reservation.
Smoking in or near property $150 Smoking must occur 100 ft from the home.
Use of prohibited items (candles, hair dye, etc.) $150 For safety and preservation of property.
Excessive sand inside the unit(s) $75 Please use the outdoor shower to rinse before entering.
Excessive dirtiness $100 Applies to unclean dishes, heavy mess, or misuse of furnishings.
Septic system misuse (flushing paper/items) $100 Please use the wastebasket provided in each bathroom.
